Angel – By Jack Johnson
I’ve got an angel
She doesn’t wear any wings
She wears a heart that can melt my own
She wears a smile that can make me wanna sing
She gives me presents
With her presence alone
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home
She could make angels
I’ve seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you’ve got good love
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplyin’
But you’re so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Regret Washed Away
“I always regretted not kissing the guys that I liked.”
He waited patiently for the back story, which she delivered.
When she finished he placed a strong hand along either side of her face, looking into her eyes.
“Let me not be the one that you regret.”
With that he washed away the sentence with a long and gentle kiss that built itself up like a wave crashing into the shore.
The Hunt
Into the wild we wander
Not running, but searching
Patiently hunting
I with my spear
She with her bow
Calm fills the forest
Hearts race before the kill
Eyes meet, waiting
Spear loosed
Arrows take flight
Cries between the trees
Our prey has fallen
Breathlessly proud
Spear griped tight
Bow caressed
Sweet Dreams
In your travels through slumberland
I hope that we meet
Like strangers in wanting
We walk down the street
Our eyes draw us in
We touch at the lips
Followed closely thereafter
By our bodies and hips
A Gift
My fingers want
To mold you like clay
Defining your curves
In a delicate way
With heaven’s permission
I’ll bring you to life
A moment of splendor
Lost in bliss and not strife
Eyes full of wonder
Heart full of love
You’ll be my own gift
To myself from above
Breakfast in Bed
Between her thighs
I rest my eyes
And to myself I wonder
How she’ll taste
When I feed my face
And fill my carnal hunger
Like in a dream
I’ll make her scream
Her body it’ll quiver
For in my bed
When giving head
I know how to deliver
The Window
Glance through the window
Passing by
Down the street
The light on
Take a look
What goes on here?
Who casts a shadow on the blinds?
Catch the silhouette
Black against bright tones
Bright tones against black of night
Too clearly are their shapes defined
No clothes to hide what lies beneath
What have you discovered?
As you look into my eyes?
Less of a Man
So ladies, and gents… you’ll now be receiving poems from a beat with eye glasses. And somehow I feel like I’m less of a man. Not because there is anything wrong with glasses or that look bad in them, but because my long eyelashes rub against the lens and is making them shorter… and I’ve been told a few times that I have lovely eyes. Don’t worry though, I will still be oogling you and giving you a wink now and then. Stay sexy. 😉
