Hang in my sky
At close of day
Connecting the stars
And lighting my way
Hang in my sky
And sing me a tune
A sweet lullaby
About you as my moon

Freedom Song

Nightingale raised from birth
Released from its cage
Set free to spread its wings
Singing its song of freedom
To the world

ABC – What I’m good at

Yet another piece from my profile. I was trying to be cute and funny, but I don’t really know if it was appreciated. I’m getting the feeling that people don’t want to read poetry when they are looking at profiles. Oh well!

Apple eating
Butt oogling
Crepe making
And drawing too
Eagle watching
Food eating
Gift giving
Also hugging you
Ink smudging
Joke telling
Kite flying
Lip-locking, ooh
Movie watching
Orange peeling
Putting on a shoe
Quilt folding
Rug burning
Soup sipping
Toe tapping tunes
Upside downing
Vulva drowning
Wishful thinking
X-ray posing nude
Yes or no-ing
Zipper zipping
Now I’m out of letters
I finished this too soon

Angel – By Jack Johnson

I’ve got an angel
She doesn’t wear any wings
She wears a heart that can melt my own
She wears a smile that can make me wanna sing

She gives me presents
With her presence alone
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

She could make angels
I’ve seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you’ve got good love
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplyin’

But you’re so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh

Somewhere on this great big pond
Floats an ugly duckling
Very much unsure of himself
An outcast lost in the reeds
His feathers don’t yet shine
And his song is rarely heard
Will the sun ever shine
Upon the back of the swan
He never knew he could be?

I can clearly hear that song
That’s playing in your head
You can’t help but tap along
Not toes, but ass instead

Let me sing you a song with my fingers
A lullaby to whisk you to sleep
Arpeggios to tease you
Crescendos release you
Dreamland upon you will creep
